This was followed by a year in London as a Ministry Trainee at Duke Street Church and a year working for a property services company in Newcastle.
From 2007 to 2012 Matt worked with UCCF as a Staff Worker in Sunderland, Stockton and Teesside, during which he had his first contact with Hardwick Baptist Church. Matt then moved on to work part-time as Assistant Pastor at Grace Church in Doncaster and part-time working in Doncaster College.
In 2015, Matt was called to the Pastorate at Hardwick Baptist Church, starting as Pastor in September 2015.
