We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements.
We hold your data for varying lengths of time depending on the type of information in question but in doing so we always comply with Data Protection legislation. Security of your data
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees or trustees who need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and the ICO where we are legally required to do so.
Who do we share your information with?
We will not share your information with third parties without your consent unless the law requires us to do so.

in certain circumstances, have inaccurate personal data rectified, blocked, erased or destroyed; and

Data Protection Complaints Process
Hardwick Baptist Church (“we”) take your privacy concerns seriously. If you have any concerns about the way your information is being handled, please contact the Data Protection Compliance Manager without delay. The Data Protection Compliance Manager can be contacted as follows:

We will carefully investigate and review all complaints and take appropriate action in accordance with Data Protection Legislation. We will keep you informed of the progress of our investigation and the outcome. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may wish to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/concerns/
Any complaint received by us must be referred to the Data Protection Compliance Manager who will arrange for an investigation as follows:
- A record will be made of the details of the complaint.
- Consideration will be given as to whether the circumstances amount to a breach of Data Protection Legislation and action taken in accordance with the Data Breach Procedure.
- The complainant will be kept informed of the progress of the complaint and of the outcome of the investigation.
- At the conclusion of the investigation the Data Protection Compliance Manager will reflect on the circumstances and recommend any improvements to systems or procedures.
